Advisory role on new product visual language and design system. Strategic plan to migrate 60+ designers from Sketch to Figma, while re-architecting libraries and integrating design tokens as a single source of truth.

I co-authored a UX curriculum for a 10-week design Bootcamp that introduces any person looking for a career change opportunity, with no knowledge in UX. The program details the design process through theory and hands-on activities on user research methodologies, design thinking facilitation, information architecture, usability heuristic, interaction design patterns, rapid prototyping, visual design, and front-end web development. This program has helped thousands of professionals around the world to pursue a new career as product designers and is being taught in dozens of cities worldwide.
As a public speaker, I host weekly meetups and frequent UX conferences worldwide, educating the community on Accessibility, Inclusive Design trends, and empowering product designers on knowledge sharing and team collaboration.

This organization faced the usual challenges of having a sizeable offshore development team: slow and low-quality front-end implementation. The last design team left out of frustration, and the main task was to rebuild a UX practice from the ground up.
In less than 24 hours, we hired someone that was about to transform the new presentation layer. The second measure was to get the buy-in on a new implementation strategy and build a world-class cross-functional team to design a new product visual language and design system.
By the second month, the new team of seven presented a brand new visual language designed in Sketch and its component library in React and Storybook.
This new collaborative environment enabled measurable bi-weekly releases, a new design process with weekly engagement with end-users, and aligned business goals with a predictable product roadmap.
